APRIL ATTRACTION OF THE MONTH: JOURNEY TO ATLANTIS at SEAWORLD ORLANDO

Journey to Atlantis, now in its tenth year of sea-splashing thrills, takes you on a thrilling adventure through a mythical ancient underwater city styled after ancient Greece.

ALL STAR Vacation Homes Attends FVRMA Vacation Rental Conference in Orlando

FVRMATeam members from ALL STAR Vacation Homes attended the annual conference for the FVRMA – the Florida Vacation Rental Managers Association  – at the Gaylord Palms in Orlando April 21st through April 23rd.

ALL STAR CEO Steve Trover led workshop sessions about internet marketing and was featured as a board member in a strategic industry Q&A session.  Also on hand was ALL STAR VP of Marketing Sara Moore who worked the Discover Vacation Homes booth to promote the “I Love Vacation Homes” campaign – a public relations effort by Orlando area vacation home management firms to raise awareness about the growing vacation rental industry.

FVRMA is the official statewide association formed to meet the needs of professional management companies who rent and manage resort, vacation and other short-term rental properties.

ALL STAR Vacation Homes has been a member of FVRMA since 2003.

Simpsons Ride Grand Opening May 15th at Universal Studios Orlando

The Simpsons Ride at Universal Studios Orlando Woo hoo!  The Simpsons Ride grand opening at Universal Studios Orlando is less than a month away!

The theme park-themed attraction, set to debut at Universal Studios Orlando on May 15th, puts you on a simulated roller coaster where you’ll swing, sail, bump and spin your way on both a harrowing and hilarious journey through Krusyland on a mission to save Bart Simpson from the evil Sideshow Bob.

Even waiting in line for The Simpsons Ride will be fun as you pass carnival-like booths manned by some of your favorite eccentric Simpsons characters.  Plus, you’ll watch hilarious mock ads previewing Krustyland’s rides and attractions and even a safety video starring Itchy and Scratchy. It’ll make you say “Doh!” while laughing till your belly aches! 

The Simpsons Ride at Universal Studios Orlando will also feature 80-foot IMAX screens and nearly 30 Simpsons characters – all voiced by the show’s original cast. The ride is located in the World Expo area where the former Back to the Future ride once stood.

ALL STAR Vacation Homes Visits Atlanta for the Inaugural Vacation Home Expo

ALL STAR Vacation Homes at the Vacation Home Expo in AtlantaALL STAR Vacation Homes traveled to Atlanta to exhibit at the inaugural Vacation Home Expo, held April 11th through April 13th at the Cobb Galleria Center in Atlanta.

The show, in conjunction with the Atlanta Travel Expo and presented by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, brought exhibitors from around the globe to showcase destinations and accommodation options for travelers.

ALL STAR’s booth brought a high level of excitement to the show, sharing live demonstrations of their intuitive online reservations system, tossing beach balls back and forth to other exhibitors and expo attendees and even giving away a 7-night stay at one of their luxurious vacation homes.

“The energy level was sky high!” said Sara Moore, Vice President of Marketing for ALL STAR. “We even had a few past guests stop by and share their stories about staying in our vacation homes.”

Steve Trover, CEO of ALL STAR Vacation Homes, presided over two workshops, sharing his thoughts on the growing vacation home industry as well as the importance of personalized customer service in the hospitality industry.

EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival Starts Next Week

EPCOT International Flower & Garden FestivalFlower Power is back…at Disney World EPCOT!  Celebrating its 15th anniversary, this year’s annual EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival starts next Wednesday, March 19th and runs through June 1st.  Formerly a 60-day event, this year the festival has been expanded to 75 days, with its first March opening ever!
