If you’re a fan of the water parks and want to visit one at Walt Disney World, your choice is easy - Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach. But if you have limited time, how do you choose?
First, all water parks are fun and both are great for the whole family. If you visit Typhoon Lagoon you’ll find a great wave surf pool with a beach atmosphere that has a zero depth entry. If you’re looking for speed at Typhoon Lagoon there is Crush N’ Gusher, Humunga Kowabunga and the Storm Slides, all providing spillways, corkscrews and most important SPEED! To top it off, at Typhoon Lagoon you’ll have an opportunity to swim with the sharks, yes live reef sharks, stingrays, tropical fish and more!
If you’re a fan of the water slides Blizzard Beach has the slide for you! Between Runoff Rapids and Summit Plummet, Blizzard Beach offers the king of all water park rides. If you’re looking to do some white water rafting Teamboat Springs offers a 1,200 foot ride accommodating up to 3 to 5 people.
