Formerly an International Hockey League team that won the Turner Cup in 2001, the Orlando Solar Bears have been in hibernation since the league folded. On October 20, 2012, the team will emerge for their inaugural season with the ECHL against the Florida Everblades at 7 p.m. Visit the Amway Center in downtown Orlando for the start of season and help welcome the team back to the ice!
The Orlando Solar Bears are the ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Minnesota Wild and the AHL’s Houston Aeros. They will play 36 regular season home games with the first on October 20. In celebration of the Solar Bears return, the first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive a special commemorative opening night promotional item. Don’t miss your chance to be a part of Orlando ice hockey history. Will the Orlando Solar Bears have what it takes to defeat the Florida Everblades, the current ECHL Champions on opening night?
The regular season for the Orlando Solar Bears begins October 20 and tickets are $15-$60. If you can’t make it to opening night at the Amway Center, be sure to check the 2012-13 season schedule to for more opportunities to see the Solar Bears out on the ice.

There’s a chill in the air as the arena darkens – it’s a sign that things are about to heat up! Party along with Ariel from “The Little Mermaid” as her sidekick Sebastian breaks out of his shell for one night only. Get “Tangled”-up in mischief with Rapunzel and Flynn when they encounter rowdy pub thugs. Join Belle, the Beast and silly servants from “Beauty and the Beast” as they present enchanted entertainment. You’ll enjoy cool fairytale fun for everyone with amazing acrobatic skating stunts and choreography, joyful music and a few surprises.

Now that basketball season is back, it’s time for you to believe in magic, the Orlando Magic! A NBA franchise since 1989, the Orlando Magic play in the 875,000-square-foot Amway Center that opened in downtown Orlando in 2010. Led by Coach Stan Van Gundy and forward-center Dwight Howard, the Magic’s team roster includes Glen Davis, Chris Duhon, Larry Hughes, Jameer Nelson, J.J. Redick and Hedo Turkoglu.
Today, grab your family’s game tickets, explore the state-of-the-art Amway Center, and take your seat as the action begins at 7 pm when the Magic play the Washington Wizards. The Orlando Magic also play home games against the Chicago Bulls, Friday, January 6, and the Charlotte Bobcats, Tuesday, January 17. Kids will enjoy meeting Stuff the dragon, the official mascot of the Orlando Magic, and watching performances by the Orlando Magic Dancers. “Magic” can happen!
The Orlando Magic are headed home for Game 5 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals versus the Boston Celtics.
This crucial game in the series will be held at the Amway Arena in Orlando tomorrow night, Wednesday, May 26th.
Tip-off is at 8:30PM EST. Catch the game on ESPN and cheer for the Magic!

Once again, the Orlando Magic have ignited the NBA playoffs – and made history!
After sweeping the Atlanta Hawks 4 games to 0 with last night’s win, the Orlando Magic have advanced to the NBA Eastern Conference finals.
The Magic also set a record for the highest point difference in a four game sweep in NBA playoff history: 101 points!
They next face either the Cleveland Cavaliers or Boston Celtics, who are currently tied 2 games to 2 in the Eastern Conference semi-finals.

The Orlando Magic return to ignite the playoffs tonight as they square off against the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA Eastern Conference semi-finals.
The first two games of the series will be held at the Amway Arena in Orlando.
Catch Game 1 action tonight at 8:00 PM EST on TNT and tune in to ESPN this Thursday, May 6th at 8:00PM EST for Game 2 – and cheer the Magic to victory!

Once again, there’s “Magic” in the air!
After defeating the Charlotte Bobcats on Monday April 26th, the Orlando Magic have advanced to the 2nd round of the 2010 Eastern Conference NBA playoffs!
The Magic are set to host either the Atlanta Hawks or the Milwaukee Bucks at the Amway Arena.
The date and time of their next game is dependent on the outcome of the Hawks-Bucks series.

The Orlando Magic returns to Orlando this week to cast its “spell” over the LA Lakers for Games 3 through 5 of the NBA Finals!
The excitement starts at the Amway Arena with Game 3 on Tuesday, June 9th at 9:00pm EDT and continues with Game 4 on Thursday, June 11th at 9:00pm EDT.
Game 5 is Sunday, June 14th at 8:00pm EDT.
