With hit music from Smash Mouth and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, say goodbye to 2011 and ring in 2012 at Rock in the New Year at Universal CityWalk®. New Attractions Announced for Fantasyland
Expansion at Walt Disney World® Resort

More magic is coming to the Fantasyland expansion at the Magic Kingdom® Park in Walt Disney World® Resort!
In addition to the new Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid ride and the double-sized Dumbo the Flying Elephant aerial carousel, Disney has announced these exciting new attractions:
- Princess Fairytale Hall – a new meet-and-greet area featuring your favorite Disney princesses
- The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train – a thrilling new indoor roller coaster for the whole family
- Storybook Circus – a new circus-themed section featuring The Great Goofini children’s coaster
- Beast’s Castle – home to the Be Our Guest Restaurant, seating up to 550 guests!
- Belle’s Village – more Beauty and the Beast fun including Gaston’s Tavern and Bonjour! Village Gifts
The Fantasyland expansion will open in multiple stages at the Orlando area theme park starting late 2012 and continuing in 2013.

Disney Announces “Let the Memories Begin”
Campaign for 2011

This year, Disney celebrated volunteering. Next year, Disney celebrates its guests enjoying the magic with its recently announced “Let the Memories Begin” campaign.
Starting January 2011, select visitors at the Magic Kingdom® Park in Walt Disney World® Resort will be photographed by Disney and star in state-of-the-art nighttime slideshows with up to 500 photos projected onto Cinderella Castle.
In addition, guests will be able to upload their own photos and videos at DisneyParks.com/memories for a chance to be featured on Disney TV commercials and websites.

Earth Day Celebrations at Walt Disney World

Expansion at Walt Disney World

Fantasyland is expanding at the Magic Kingdom Park in Walt Disney World!
Touted as the largest ever for the Orlando area theme park, the expansion will include:
- Disney Princess Character Fantasy Lands – featuring Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Belle and Ariel
- Two New Restaurants – the Beast’s Castle and Gascon’s Tavern
- Giant-Sized Pixie Hollow Area – based on the world of fairies in “Peter Pan”
- Little Mermaid Ride – an underwater ride with a theme based on the popular movie “The Little Mermaid”
- Double-Sized Dumbo Ride – featuring an interactive play area with games and a circus tent style waiting area
The new Fantasyland is scheduled to open in two stages – one in 2012 and the other in 2013. Groundbreaking for the expansion starts next year.

Disney Updating Fantasyland and Star Tours

Disney is bringing more magic to your Orlando vacation!
Plans have been announced to update Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom Park, including:
- Adding a brand new Little Mermaid ride
- Expanding the Dumbo attraction
- Creating new areas where guests can interact with well-known Disney princesses
In addition, the Star Tours ride in Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be upgraded with new 3-D technology.
The updates are the largest in Walt Disney World history. Fantasyland is scheduled to be completed in 2013, while the new Star Tours is expected to be revealed in 2011.
