Nearing its 20th anniversary next year, the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular continues to be one of the premier attractions at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Lasting a little over 30 minutes, this intense, live-action stunt extravaganza will have you on the edge of your seat from start to finish!
The show begins with casting audience members in the roles of extras. Then the music starts, the lights dim and Indiana Jones explodes onto the stage in a jaw-dropping and unforgettable re-enactment of his classic temple escape scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark – complete with deadly traps and the infamous giant rolling boulder! The nailbiting action continues as Indy avoids swashbuckling swordsman and armed soldiers in the memorable Cairo chase sequence. The show concludes literally with a bang as Indy must stave off a towering airplane mechanic, dodge spinning propeller blades and avoid multiple explosions caused by a leaking fuel tank – a flawlessly choreographed live performance of one of Raiders’ most breathlessly exciting action sequences!
Afterwards, you’ll feel as if you’ve actually been in the movie – an adrenaline-fueled, non-stop “living film” that perfectly captures the essence of everything we love about the Indiana Jones films.
Whip on over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios today and embark on one of most thrilling adventure attractions at Walt Disney World!
Want to add more Indiana Jones to your Orlando vacation adventures? Catch Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull hitting theatres this Thursday, May 22nd.
