International Talk Like a Pirate Day!

Ahoy Mateys! Today is International Talk Like a Pirate Day, and what better place to practice your “pirate-speak” than on your Orlando vacation! Take advantage of such attractions as the Pirates of the Caribbean® at the Magic Kingdom®, the Pirates Dinner Adventure, or Pirate’s Island Adventure Golf!
Here are some tips for bringing out your inner buccaneer:
- Instead of saying “I am” say “I be”
- Double up on adjectives. Pirates never speak of a “big ship” they call it a “great, grand ship!”
- Start sentences with “Arr, me hearty” and the rest will come easily!
Be sure to practice your pirate lingo before you set sail for your Orlando vacation!
