‘Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey’ Ride
Attention “muggles”! Planning on riding Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey on your Orlando vacation?
Here’s some information, tips and a special secret about this exciting new Orlando vacation attraction at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal’s Islands of Adventure:
Location: Hogwarts Castle
Minimum Height Requirement: 48 inches
Approximate Ride Length: 4 minutes
Tips for Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey:
- Test seats are located outside the ride for you to try out
- Place loose items (camera bags, purses, drinks, etc.) in the lockers at the ride entrance
- “Wizard” attendants are stationed outside and at the entrance to answer your questions
Secret: The ride wait times can be as long as up to 2 hours or more. To start your adventure sooner, head to the single rider line which can be as short as a 10 to 15 minute wait! Please note: if you choose this option, you won’t get to see a lot of the special rooms in the castle that the main queue line sees.
