Star Wars Celebration V Coming Soon to Orlando

Star Wars Celebration V is the fifth official Star Wars convention, bringing together fans, cast and crew of the beloved saga. This year’s event commemorates the 30th Anniversary of “The Empire Strikes Back” and features:

- Exclusive collectible merchandise
- Special screenings
- Trivia contests
- Music & other special entertainment
Special guests include: Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia), Ray Park (Darth Maul) – and many others!
Plus, don’t miss the convention’s main event: an hour-long interview of Star Wars creator George Lucas by comedian Jon Stewart, scheduled for 11:00am Saturday, August 14 on the Celebration Main Stage!
Convention hours are Thursday August 12th through Saturday August 14th, 10am to 7pm and Sunday, August 15th, 10am to 5pm. However, special events, like panels and screenings, can continue later.

ALL STAR Vacation Homes recently moved its Reservations, Marketing, Product Development and Accounting teams into its new corporate offices at the ISSA building in Celebration, Florida.
The move provides expanded space at the Formosa Gardens offices for ALL STAR’s Operations, Guest Services, Quality Control, Property Care and Owner Relations teams. ALL STAR’s sister company, ALL STAR Vacation Home Realty, will also stay at this location. And ALL STAR guests will continue to check-in at this office or directly at their Orlando vacation home.

Attention “muggles”! Planning on riding Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey on your Orlando vacation?
Here’s some information, tips and a special secret about this exciting new Orlando vacation attraction at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal’s Islands of Adventure:
Location: Hogwarts Castle
Minimum Height Requirement: 48 inches
Approximate Ride Length: 4 minutes
Tips for Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey:
- Test seats are located outside the ride for you to try out
- Place loose items (camera bags, purses, drinks, etc.) in the lockers at the ride entrance
- “Wizard” attendants are stationed outside and at the entrance to answer your questions
Secret: The ride wait times can be as long as up to 2 hours or more. To start your adventure sooner, head to the single rider line which can be as short as a 10 to 15 minute wait! Please note: if you choose this option, you won’t get to see a lot of the special rooms in the castle that the main queue line sees.
