Space Shuttle Atlantis Launched February 7th from the Kennedy Space Center

The Space Shuttle Atlantis is now in Orbit!   Just yesterday at the Kennedy Space Center the Space Shuttle Atlantis blasted off on a mission to deliver the European Space Agency’s Columbus Laboratory.  

 The next launch date is scheduled in 32 Days for March 11, 2008 for the mission STS-123 Endeavour from the Kennedy Space Center.   Tickets for viewing this launch at the Armchair Astronaut Club go on sale February 11, 2008.

Spring Training for the Atlanta Braves started Mid-February at Disney’s Wide World of Sports

Disney’s Wide World of Sports is home to the Atlanta Braves Spring Training!    For 11 years now, the Atlanta Braves have been using this facility for the spring training and you can take part.     You’ll have a chance to see 16 home games where the Braves play against the Cardinals, Tigers, Indians and Mets.   Tickets are now on sale and you can learn more by visiting Disney’s Wide World of Sports.
