The Water’s Still Great in Orlando, Florida
Orlando stays warm year ‘round so bring your bathing suit and explore all the fun and sun you can on your next Florida vacation! Orlando offers more water thrills per square mile than just about any vacation destination so get the sunscreen and pick from the many water parks and water rides that are available here. Always on everyone’s favorites list are Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. Fashioned after a seaside resort became engulfed in a terrible typhoon, Typhoon Lagoon offers thrills and chills that make a one-piece bathing suit a must! Try Crushin’ Gusher – a water coaster that takes you 35 feet high and at speeds of 25 mph.
Blizzard Beach offers the tallest water slide in the U.S. amid a snowy, ice-clad water park sure to please any water slide fanatic. Typhoon Lagoon will be closed November through January for updating, so check Disney’s calendars before you go! Both parks offer kiddie pools for the younger set, wave pools, and lounge areas to just stretch out and relax!
