All Star Vacation Homes has been in the news recently with a great mention on the well-known travel website, http://frommers.com/. In her article, “Is a Trip to Orlando Worth it Without the Mouse?” travel writer Naomi Krauss states “Saving the best for last, my absolute favorite accommodation tactic in Orlando is to avoid hotels completely… There are a lot of home-rental agencies out there and many are iffy, so do your homework; the best outfit in Orlando is All Star Vacation Homes … which lets renters see photos of its beautifully furnished homes online.” http://frommers.com/ is the #1 travel news website according to http://ranking.com/ with more than 600,000 visitors each month. It felt like home to us…the kids didn’t want to leave. All star thought of everything..towels, plates..we loved the pool and the kids loved having a T.V. in their room. Everything was spotless, the cleaners do a great job. We especially loved our unit we were in. I took pictures, so maybe I can purchase a few decor items to try and recreate the same atmosphere at home.

Experience the incredible rush of taking off in the space shuttle while being safely strapped into the Kennedy Space Center’s new $60 million dollar simulator ride. It’s just like being there as you experience the launch sequence, take off, and orbit complete with magnificent views of the earth taken on actual shuttle flights. Closer to ALL STAR, try a different kind of air adventure by booking a hot air balloon flight, or try your skydiving skills at one of Orlando’s indoor skydiving arenas.

Instead of hitting the theme parks ever day, why not take a break and chill out on one of Central Florida’s close-by beaches on your next visit to Orlando? Cocoa Beach is an easy 60 minute drive from most of our properties and is a pristine, family-friendly beach all year ‘round. Locals often wax up their surfboards and hit the beach to ride its well-known waves. Other beaches nearby include Clearwater Beach on the west coast and Daytona Beach on the Atlantic Coast.

While the theme parks beckon many travelers, there’s a part of Florida many rarely see…and it’s closer than you might think. The Kissimmee area offers a wide variety of eco-friendly adventures perfect for the whole family, from Eco Safaris by swamp buggy or horseback to scenic airboat tours of the wildlife-filled wetlands. If you prefer your wildlife at a distance, the Central Florida Zoo and Botanical Gardens in Sanford might be a better choice. Go wild this summer and check out Florida’s natural wonders.
